When Louise, a former employee of an ABTA member, had to leave her job due to a severe deterioration in her eyesight she was heartbroken. As a hard worker, being unable to work for the next four years left Louise extremely disappointed and frustrated.
In 2016, there was good news, Louise’s eyesight had finally stabilised enough for her to start thinking about returning to work. That’s when Louise discovered the ECLO (Eye Clinic Liaison Officer) Course, which would allow her to pursue a dream career she felt was perfect for her. Louise would be able to use her experience with her own eyesight to provide an enthusiastic and empathetic service to those who needed it.
ABTA LifeLine were delighted to receive Louise’s application, her passion to help others was inspiring and we were keen to help. ABTA LifeLine paid for Louise’s ECLO course and assisted with the accommodation required whilst she completed the course.
“I could not have done this course & training without your support.”
We are so happy to announce that Louise has passed her final exam and is now qualified. ABTA LifeLine wishes her the best in which we are sure will be a successful career.
